Different types of graphs

What are graphs and what are they used for?Graphs and charts are visuals that show relationships between data and are intended to display the data in a way that is easy to understand and remember. People often use graphs and charts to demonstrate trends, patterns and relationships between sets of data.

Here are some example's of different kinds of graphs and charts such as Pie graphs,bar graphs,line graphs and donut chart.

1.what is a Pie graph and what is it in use for?

A Complete Guide to Pie Charts | Tutorial by Chartio

Pie charts can be used to show percentages of a whole, and represents percentages at a set point in time. Unlike bar graphs and line graphs,pie charts do not show changes over time.

2.What is a bar graph and what is it used for?

What is a Bar chart? - Answered - Twinkl teaching Wiki

Bar graphs are used to compare things between different groups or to track changes over time.A bar chart is a graph with rectangular bars. The graph usually compares different categories.

3.what is a line graph and what is it used for?

what is a line graph, how does a line graph work, and what is the best way to use a line graph? — storytelling with data

Line graphs are used to track changes over short and long periods of time. When smaller changes exist, line graphs are better to use than bar graphs.

4.What is a Donuts chart and what is it used for?

Simple Donut Chart Template | Moqups
Donut charts are used to show the proportions of categorical data, with the size of each piece representing the proportion of each category.

Circle and terminalogy

 How I do calculate the circumference of a circle?

Formule based= using radius

                            circumference = 2𝛑r

                            Using diameter=

Radius = 26000mm
Diameter = 520000
PI = 22/7 or 3.141

To convert the radius from cm to M I am going to divide it by 100

26000/100 = 260 m

Cir 2 x PI x 260
=1633.62817987

Area of 3 basic shapes

Area

The area can be defined as the space occupied by a flat shape or the surface of an object

Triangle:

Rectangle:

Circle:

Square:

Volume of a Rectangle

 How to work out Volume

1.What do we mean by Volume?
Volume is the amount of space inside of an object so like a 3d shape if we want to measure the volume of a square we need to measure how much is inside of it.

2.How do we measure Volume?
 To find the volume, you multiply length times width times height to get the total volume inside of the 3d Object.

Spaced Out | NZ Maths

3.How to find the area of a circle?
The area of a circle is pi times the radius squared (A = π r²).

Can we convert Volume into Litres?

The volume in liters is equal to the cubic inches multiplied and What I got from the internet is you Multiply by 0.016387.Cubic inches and liters are both units used to measure volume.

What is the Volume of the Pool?

Length=8m
width=3m
Height=1.2m

-Working=3x8x1.2=28.8
28.8x1000=28800mL

Avatar film

 Brainstorm-the two talking.She told him to go away because he didn't belong.

-the seeds of the sacred tree choose him.

Techniques:

Lighting -Artificial,bright,dim-plants/things they touched were bright,background was dim,cold.

Colour-palette-neon's-blue/green/purple-Extremes,shows us we are some place different exciting.

Camera-

Shots-angles,movement-focus.

-Tilt shot used to show the seeds-pov shot lake,exciting/magical

Conversation-mid shot,show bodies-show the distance between the characters.

-close up-on seeds,shows ethereal movement,other worldly.

Statement:in the scene'seeds of the sacred trees' lighting is effectively used to create the other worldly experience of Pandora.An artificial bright light is seen as the figures run and touch things in the environment.The rest of their surroundings remain dark against those flashes of cold neon light.This makes the audience feel amazed and envious of the unnatural and unearthly qualities of the planet.The director did this to make the viewer feel like they have been transported to another world where new and exciting things are possible.Coinciding with this is the use of a neon colour palette.The blues,greens and purples become vibrant and otherworldly when combined with the artificially bright lights caused by movement.The lighting and colour are juxtaposed to that which we experience the real world like earth,it has trees,plants and native people but they seem vastly different us because of the bright artificial lighting and colours.

Triangle facts

 Triangle facts

Name of different triangles:

 equilateral, right isosceles, obtuse isosceles, acute isosceles, right scalene, obtuse scalene, and acute.

Pythagoras :
He is mainly remembered for what has become known as Pythagoras' Theorem (or the Pythagorean Theorem): that, for any right-angled triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse

Triangle angles:
All triangles have internal angles that add up to 180° , no matter the type of triangle. An isosceles triangle will have two angles the same size. In an equilateral triangle, all angles will be 60° . A right-angled triangle will have one angle that is 90

Pythagoras who,what,where?
Pythagoras was a Greek philosopher and mathematician.Pythagoras was born about 570 BCE on the island of Samos.

What is square root?
Square root, in mathematics, a factor of a number that, when multiplied by itself, gives the original number.

What is Sin,Cosine,tan?
Sin is equal to the side opposite the angle that you are conducting the functions on over the hypotenuse which is the longest side in the triangle. Cos is adjacent over hypotenuse. And tan is opposite over adjacent, which means tan is sin/cos. this is proven by the algebra.

What is a radian?
a radian is a unit of measurement of angles equal to about 57.3 degrees.

What is degrees?
Degrees are a unit of angle measure. A full circle is divided into 360 degrees. For example, a right angle is 90 degrees. A degree has the symbol °.

Unpacking Themes and Ideas

 Theme/Idea-

-the ideas the story centers around

-Message we are trying convey to the audience.

Tolerance-the quality of allowing other people to have their own attitude,beliefs or to behave in a particular way,even if you don't agree or approve.

Overcoming adversity-Pushing past/getting through something difficult or dangerous.

-the students don't respect or have a relationship with their teacher.They don't understand each other.

-Drew racist picture of Jamal,the students yell at the teachers,face different directions,tell her they don't give her respect.

-Andre-"Why should I give you my respect to you?because you're a teacher?I don't know you.How do I know you're not a liar standing up there".

Marcus-"Lady,i'm lucky if I make it to 18,we in a war! we graduating every day we live because we ain't afraid to die protecting out own"
