For Science me and Aron have been creating our own solar system. We had to paper mache and paint the paper balls then skewered them on a shoe box
This includes all of the planets in our galaxy.

1-moon landings were fake because in 1928 camera quality wasn't as good as that and the their was also colour in photo which in 1928 their wasn't colour back in 1928.

2-moon landings were also fake because the moon also orbits during night time.

3-moon landings were are fake because the rocket wasn't able to reach the moon and with the ship floating it couldn't really reach the moon.

Smoke on the Water is about the Montreux casino, which went up in flames in 1971.

What will you start working on first?

Making sure everybody knows what they are playing, and are confident in playing it. I feel like if everybody knows what they're playing, then we can spend the rest of the time rehearsing our performance in one of the music rooms.

What is going to be challenging about this task?

Reige and I haven't played in a group before, and so it might be difficult keeping the two in time with Greg.

-which song did i play and why?I played lean on me because it was easier to play and its a song i like.
-was i happy with my performance?no because i was to shy to play and i didn't play the rest of it.
-what would i change if i had the chance to retake i would practice more and make sure to play better than before.

Gymnastics

in gymnastics today I learnt how to use the parallel bars.I learnt a few moves like warm-ups on the bars lifting my knees up on the bars and similar to pull ups.I also knew how get on the parallel bar.I didn't really learn anything because gymnastics is not my thing but will get interesting after all. 

About Microscope

Key parts of a microscope-The key parts of the microscope are the Head,Base and arm.
The way I set my microscope up is Place it in a good spot for the light to be reachable.When The microscope is in a good spot for the light to be placed.When I have placed The light Im now focusing on the Slides.When placing the object we are going to be spectating im going to place the object on the piece of glass as where we are going to place the iodine on.When placing the iodine you have to place in the centre of the object and be very fragile when the Glass.
Looking threw the microscope was pretty interesting I found it pretty fun but kind of hard trying to know where the parts are and where their placed. The colours looking threw the microscope was fun because there were all different types of objects that we were looking at.

Testing for simple sugars

Aim-to test a sample of food to determine whether it contains simple sugars.

Equipment
1-Bunsen burner
2-test tube tongs
3-benedicts soultion
4-A sample of food

Method
-place about 2ml of the sample into a test tube and then add 5 drops of benedicts solution.
-heat with a bunsen until it changes colour.do not boil.

Results
Apple-apple started of with the normal colour of white than turned into a orange-ish colour.

Bread-The lodine solution reacted really fast to the bread and looked like their were cracks in the test tube.

Discussion-both Worked out well,Both reacted to the liquids.The apple reacted faster than the bread because it required heat and water,but the bread reacted slower because it required only water and liquid.

1-The Piranha is one of the most deadly fishes in this fish size.The bite of an piranha is worst than a bite of a bulldog.Its teeth is very strong and sharp.
2-Its 6-10 inches long which is the size of an average fish.The piranha weighs around 8 pounds.
3-Piranha on a human is as bad as a dog bite.A human kind of gets a weird feeling after their bite,like a allergic reaction.

In English I've been learning how to write a 5 paragraph essay.The director of this film is taika waititi. This essay is based on hunt for the wider people. Im going to be writing about hector and Ricky relationship transformation,before and after. In my essay im writing about how there relationship turns out from bad to good.

What i've learnt in Maths

I learnt about circumference,diameter and radius.

Circumference-Circumference to diameter. You probably noticed that since diameter is twice the radius, the proportion between circumference and diameter

Diameter-a straight line passing from side to side through the center of a body or figure, especially a circle or sphere

Radius-Radius is half of the radius so if the diameter was 20cm radius will be 10cm so pretty much half of diameter.

Human rights

S-I think have a reason to argue with the government because the government cannot take over human rights.If they are not happy with the rules or if they are not fair if not fair on them and humans have the rights to change it.But humans have to follow the laws rules.If there's an imbalance of power than the rules will change.

E-human rights include civil and political rights such as the right to life and liberty, freedom of expression, equality before the law and the right to be free from discrimination

E-Social, cultural and economic rights include the right to participate in culture, the right to work, the right to an adequate standard of living and the right to education. Everyone is equally entitled to human rights without discrimination

L-so that how human rights work and how the government works.Human have rights to change rules all you have to do is give a reason and argue about it.

Convection science

Aim-to observe convection into liquid

Method
1-set up a bunsen burener on a heatproof mat.put the gaze mat on tripod but just to one side of bunsen burner.

2-fill a beaker 200ml with 150 cold water

3-place the beaker on top of the triopd and gauze and allow it to settle for a few minutes.

4-carefully insert a drinking straw down the side of the beaker,ensuring the straw to touch the bottom of the beaker.be careful as you dont want to disturb the water too much.

5-using tweezers,drop a crystal of possaium permanganate down the inside of the straw.wait for the crystal to settle.

6-very gently,so to not disturb the water,remove the straw.


7-light the bunsen and slide it under the tripod so that you are only heating the outside of the beaker.

Observation-I saw the crystal dissolving in the water.the potassium permanganate was rising from the heat from the beginning

Explanation-the hot water was rises because of less dense.

Discussion-the hot water was rising because of less dense,the crystal dissolved into the water and rose to the top.

Reflection on Home eco

1-Cupcakes reflection

Ingredients

1-125 gram of butter

2-1/3 cup sugar

3-2 eggs

4-1/2 raising flour

5-1/2 cup of flour

6-2tsp of baking powder

7-1/4 cup of milk

the cupcakes didn't come out as a perfect product but still managed to make the cupcakes.I think that ours wasn't a successful product because our group had to use rice milk and Olivani  butter.I think we didn't put enough ingredients I am pretty sure if we had enough our cupcakes would have look like a proper cupcake.Our cupcakes were so low and didn't have enough like a quarter of ingredients.

2-Scones reflection

Ingredients

1-3 cups plain flour

2-6 teaspoon of baking powder

3-1/4 of salt

4-grams of butter

5-1 to 1 1/2 cup of milk

the scones came out as a good product and the outcome was successful and actually look like a scone.I think our measurements were perfect and together as a group it was good teamwork.The scones were taste nice and had a good taste to it.I hoping to make more in the future.

The apple spiced muffins were pretty good and not gonna lie i think ours was the best because i can taste the flavour of the apple but the others taste bland.the teamwork was good because we got the product done.

I think the friands were little but still was a good product.I think we should make friands bigger so it can feed the team.The flavour was nice and i think that it had more flavour than the cupcakes

The behaviour of matter

Aim-to observe diffusion in a liquid.
Method-
1-Half fill your petri dish with cold tap water.
2-place the petri dish on your work bench and allow the water to become settled.
3-using the tweezers,place a single crystal of potassium permangate in the centre of the petri dish.
4-observe for 5 mins
5-repeat the equipment using hot water. 

Discussion-the hot water dissolved faster than and the cold water.the cold water spread ed slowly.the hot water dissolved more quicker cold water .the particles were the potassium which was the solid.  

Investigating sate changes

Aim-to observe water as it changes sate from solid to liquid and then to a gas.

Method-

1-collect enough ice so that your beaker is half full and place the thermometer 

into it while you step up and rest of the equipment.

2-set up the retorts stand and clamp alongside the tripod and gauze mat.

3-place the beaker of ice on the gauze mat and gently clamp the thermometer so that it is held upright and the scale is easy to see.the bottom of your thermometer should  be low enough to still be covered by water when melts,but not touching the bottom of the beaker.

4-record the initial temperature of the ice in the data table.

5-light your Bunsen burner and start timing with the stopwatch.

6-measure and record the temperature every minute.

7-continue measuring and recording the temperature until the water has been boiling 2-3 minutes.   

Discussion-the solid was melting into a liquid slowly.we were measuring the solid threw the thermometer.the water was evaporating and giving the measurement.

Chromatography experiment

Aim-To separate the different pigments in inks or dyes using paper chromatography.

Method

1-cut strip of filter paper that is long enough to reach the bottom of your piece of paper.
and able to wrap around your pencil or ice-stick.

2-Rule a line in pencil approximately 2 cm from the bottom of your piece of paper.

3-fill your beaker with enough chromatography solution to fill your beaker to a depth of 1 cm

4-place a dot of ink above the ruled line on your filter paper.you need to produce a concentrated dot of ink so repeated applications may be necessary.

5-suspend the strip of paper from the pencil or stick.you may need to use adhesive tape to stop it from falling into the solution.

6-wait to see what happens.it is important that you do not disturb the beaker.if the solution comes in contact with the ink dot,the ink will run down into the solution rather than move up the filter paper.

Discussion- the liquid which was the water and the paper strip made a amazing mixture of colour.the liquid made the colour change and made a good colour mixture.

Separating a mixture using distillation

Aim-To separate a solute from a solvent in a solution using distillation.

Method

1-Set up the equipment as shown in the diagram
2-Add approximately 50 ml of water and a few drops of drops food colouring to your conical
3-Light your Bunsen burner.Open the air hole and gently push the Bunsen burner under the tripod
4-Heat the solution until most of the solvent has been evaporated.turn off your Bunsen burner.

Results

I can see the coke starting to boiling and coke being converted into a liquid.The ice starting to melt.The liquid smelt like coke.the coke was evaporating and condensing into a liquid.

Discussion

The solvent was boiling and evaporating in a liquid.the amount of heat being added onto the ice made a liquid which converted it into water.the coke was evaporating and condensing into the liquid which is the water.

For English today I've tried out this game called 3d tuning.This game was all about cars and about building it yourself. I've really enjoyed playing this game because Im really into cars and I want to be drifter.My inspiration from cars Paul walker.I learnt that this game tells me all about cars and I really want to explore more about cars.

Hi my name is Adelaide,and I read a book about different sea creatures.
what I found really interesting was the basking shark,this shark weight is 3 tonnes which is heavier than a truck.What I also found interesting was the horn shark,the horn shark has the strongest bite from any shark.The size of the horn shark was 37.8 inches.

So that was what I learnt in English during reading today.
